Blackbutt Flooring

Blackbutt [Eucalyptus Pilularis] is known for its unique strong resistant to fire, it is one of the least flammable eucalypts which is able to survives most moderate forest fires.

Due to its extraordinary durability and resistant to fire, this timber species is very favorable as flooring and outdoor decking. It ranges from pale brown to a slightly pinkish tinge. It has a medium and even texture, usually with straight grain.

Prime Grade. Janka Rating 9.1

Fire resistant rate: BAL29, which does not have to be subjected to fire retardant treatment.
